Good staff, clean, and overall you will have a good experience with whatever you are participating in here. There is a small pool for toddlers and infants which isn't the biggest but is ok, a 25m length adult pool which is good, and a good size seating area where you can watch the action. On the swimming gala days you will have to book your tickets in advance. The gym is good with lots of equipment and of course gym motivation classes are put on in different areas. You can book a court and play badminton and soft tennis in the main sports hall, as well as 5 a side football. I play badminton there myself and it is 7 for a junior court and 10.40 for a adult court for 1 hour. The changing rooms for swimming are unisex with all different size changing rooms, some with baby facilities, for 1-6 people per changing room, so a young family can all get changed together. If you want to book a birthday party it is a good place to have one, you can book a variety of parties and it is especially good for 2-6 years as they have good bouncy castles and toys for a party and for this you will have music and half of the sports hall. The reason it gets four stars is that the car parking is not big enough and you have to get a parking ticket every time which is annoying but you can stay up to 4 hours with the ticket. Also the cafe seating area is pretty drab it needs an upgrade.

Staff are very enthusiastic and make you feel welcome. The whole family loves Beverley Leisure Centre, thank you.

I think Beverley have a great pool and the swimming lessons are fantastic, I would recommend them to anyone. Simon my daughter's teacher goes above and beyond, her confidence has grown.Thank you

Gym is overcrowded at peek times. No Olympic barbells. No squat rack.Update: They now have an Olympic barbell. Now if we could get enough plates to service peak times and a squat rack...

Leisure centre is ok. Kept clean. Cafe good. Gym small and full of young kids talking (not policed). Half the machines are not working in some way (fan/headphone jack/TV). Classes are fully booked and on turning up, only half attend. Should be policed better to stop time wasters. No form of air in the main hall for Body Combat classes. Ridiculously hot - unbearable. Instructors for classes all very good - would highly recommend them. Overall an OK leisure centre but could do with policing more and some form of air in the main hall!
