Never had no problems. Great little station. well lit and clean.
The train station its self is fine. The staff however not so. I asked some questions as I am new back in the area. I think the lady would have rather have pulled teeth than look at me and be helpful and friendly. Far different to when I visited London where the staff all seemed pleasant and helpful.
Although the train station itself is fine i cannot say much for the staff. my mum is in a wheelchair and everytime we go we get overcharged on our train tickets, even though we are able to get 50% off, so a journey that should cost us 12 ends up costing around 18. we have brought this up with national rail on many occasions with promises it will not happen in the future but nothing changes.
Another well kept railway station other than the pigeons nesting under the train shed but that doesn't bother me! The station is located near the town centre just minutes away. A handy one for students as East Riding College is near its doorstep! I recommend people to visit here especially Flemingate shops and the town centre.
