Not a bad little shopping area. Parking is cheap and there are a couple of good places to eat.
When Flemingate first appeared, I thought it seemed a bit sterile, but thanks to places like the excellent cinema, Estabulo across the way and Deli No.1, we tend to return quite a bit. There's usually something going on in front of the cinema - various stalls, events etc. Parking is cheap - 1 for three hours. It can get very busy, but we've never not been able to get a space.
Shame Entertainer was closed on Sunday. Last 4 weekends before Christmas. You would think they would open. Fairly quiet for time of year. No pushing and bumping like Beverley town.
Plenty of shops in the centre and the car park was very cheap with good sized bays and easy access to the shops. Location was good too making it easy to get to the town centre shops within a few minutes walk.
We love shopping here, it has everything you need and want. Always kept clean,and such a nice place to walk around. Parking is convinient and access for disabled is good. Very impressed with the parking charges too. As a family we enjoy going into moat shops to grab a bargain and then to sit down at the many coffee shops or have some lunch. We especially like going to Browns, Bay Tree Interiors and for me river island. This is always my first choice for a relaxed shopping experience
